President Trump Must Stick to His Redline -- the Iranian regime's nuclear program must be completely dismantled and it must not be allowed to keep its centrifuges or enrich uranium. Another Obama-like blunder will have grave consequences for our national security.

We applaud President Trump for his strength, common sense and moral clarity -- and raise our voices to strengten his resolve at this defining moment as the regime in Tehran appears adamant that it will not relinquish its so-called "right" to enrichment.

The Secretary General of the UN nuclear watchdog the the International Atomic Energy Agency ("IAEA") warned that "the scope and breadth of Iran’s nuclear buildout have made it impossible to verify any new deal that allows Iran to continue enriching uranium." In its report, published on February 26, he confirmed that because of Iran’s activities, stonewalling and refusal to allow inspections over the last four years, “the Agency has lost continuity of knowledge in relation to the production and current inventory of centrifuges, rotors and bellows, heavy water and UOC, which it will not be possible to restore.”

The Republicans in the Senate and House have written to the President to underscore the critical importance that he maintain this redline.

Given the Iranian regime's stated refusal to dismantle its nuclear program voluntarily a military operation is the only solution. Please let him know you support such an operation wholeheartedly and urge him to work with Israel to make certain it is as successful as possible.

Destroying the Iranian regime's nuclear capabilities will not lead to war - rather it will bring peace to the Middle East and further American security and global security.

Background:

It is the official position of Stop Iran Now that negotiating with the devil in Tehran is a fool's errand.

Iran's malevolent and barbaric behavior and history of deception and intransigence cannot be ignored. Nor can the secret sites that seem to pop up over the large country - the history of stonewalling the IAEA and harassing and intimidating inspectors - and its oft stated apcalyptic intentions and promises to "wipe Israel off the map" and achieve its policy of "death to America."

The blood of the hundreds of thousands of innocent men women and children tortured, maimed and murdered at the hands of this regime cry out for justice not diplomatic compromise - the cries of the oppressed freedom-seeking people of Iran must not be ignored.

However, we admire and respect President Trump and are thankful for his history of handling the Iran crisis with the requisite strength and moral clarity.

He rightly pulled out of Obama-Biden's disastrous Iran nuclear deal (the "JCPOA") which paved the Iranian regime's path to nuclear weapons and enriched it to the tune of $300 billion dollars (which it predictably used to finance Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad and many other Shiite terror groups -as well as its nuclear and conventional weapons programs).

He rightly imposed a "maximum pressure campaign" to stop financing the apocalyptic regime - drying up its financial resources only to see the Biden Administration reverse this critical policy - grant waivers to enable Iran's energy exports - and fatten the regime's coffers yet again.

It is abundantly clear to us that, short of an agreed upon operation of the type used to dismantle Libya's nuclear weapons program in 2003, there are no words that can be spoken or documents that can be signed - that will guaranty that the critical goal of denying the Iranian regime nuclear weapons capabilities can be achieved.

President Trump and his Administration have correctly drawn a redline against any deal that allows Iran to retain any enrichment capability - but the devil may be in the details. The only path that will work here is the complete and immediate removal of Iran's nuclear infrastructure.

Anything else plays into the regime's hands and endangers our future.

IN THIS CASE NO DEAL IS BY FAR BETTER THAN A BAD DEAL - FOR A BAD DEAL CAN SENTENCE OUR CHILDREN AND OUR CHILDREN'S CHILDREN INTO DECADES OF DARKNESS

Indeed, the National Security Presidential Memorandum on Iran stated that “Iran’s nuclear program, including its enrichment- and reprocessing-related capabilities and nuclear-capable missiles, poses an existential danger to the United States and the entire civilized world.”

President Trump has stated repeatedly that only “full dismantlement” of those capabilities would be acceptable, a position recently echoed by his Special Envoy Steve Witkoff who made it clear that in that context of negotiation that for any final arrangement to work, “Iran must stop and eliminate its nuclear enrichment and weaponization program.”

The Iranian regime has stated that it will not under any circumstances relinquish its "right" to enrich uranium.

The latest news today is that the parties will again meet in Oman on Friday.
