House Republican Conference Chair US Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) voiced harsh condemnation of the Biden administration on Sunday following the reports that the US government is expected to impose sanctions on the IDF's Netzach Yehuda Battalion.
"The Biden Administration is allegedly preparing to place unprecedented and dangerous sanctions on units in the Israel Defense Forces," Stefanik stated.
"Israel is currently fighting for her right to exist and at a time when our greatest ally needs us the most, Joe Biden and Secretary Blinken are choosing to purposefully undermine Israel to appease the pro-Hamas faction of the Democratic Party," she added.
The congresswoman declared: "This is unacceptable. House Republicans will investigate the reports that the evidence supporting this sanction designation is coming directly from anti-Israel NGOs and we will work to expose the antisemitic rot that is plaguing the Biden Administration."
