THE TRUTH IS THAT THIS DEAL GIVES IRAN THE BOMB AND HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS - THE OBAMA/BIDEN TEAM MUST STOP PEDDLING THE DEADLIEST LIE OF OUR TIME -
The bamboozling must cease
The Media must start demanding and telling the truth.....
All of us must fight for truth as if our life depended on it - because it does
MARCH 16, 2022
There they go again....
When asked on Fox New Sunday how the Administration could in their right minds allow Russia (yes the Russia currently bombing kindergartens and maternity wards and threatening the world with nuclear annihilation) to be brokering a deal with Iran regarding its nuclear weapons program Obama/Biden Undersecretary of State Wendy Sherman replied with misleading talking point - "the Administration's top priority is to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons". Curiously there was no follow up on that from Fox News' Bret Baier.
On Monday State Department spokesman Ned Price uttered similar chicanery - unchallenged - as did British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss.
Say what?
The implication in these disingenuous remarks is that the 2015 nuclear deal called the JCPOA would somehow prevent the Islamic Republic of Iran from developing or acquiring nuclear weapons - a goal which is critical to our security - - and so it must be "revived" at all costs.
Quite a sleight of hand.
Yes indeed preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons is critical to our security ...but.....
The truth is the JCPOA does not prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons - rather it paves Iran's path to nuclear weapons.
Let me repeat that again so that it is crystal clear - the truth is that the JCPOA does not prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons - rather it paves Iran's path to nuclear weapons.
If you are not one to parse through hundreds of pages of legalese note that a distinguished bipartisan group of dozens of well-respected political, military and diplomatic experts led by former Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Joe Lieberman confirmed that the JCPOA "gives Iran a clear pathway to nuclear weapons," as did two former Secretaries of State.
Senator Lieberman's United Against A Nuclear Iran wrote:
The deal fails to guarantee the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program—rather, it gives Iran a clear pathway to nuclear weapons. Iran accepts temporary nuclear restrictions in exchange for front-loaded, permanent benefits. The deal emboldens and enriches an extremist anti-American terror state, thereby furthering Iran’s expansionist and destabilizing activities.
Former Secretaries of State Henry Kissinger and George Schultz penned an article at the time declaring:
"For 20 years, three presidents of both major parties proclaimed that an Iranian nuclear weapon was contrary to American and global interests—and that they were prepared to use force to prevent it. Yet negotiations that began 12 years ago as an international effort to prevent an Iranian capability to develop a nuclear arsenal are ending with an agreement that concedes this very capability, albeit short of its full capacity in the first 10 years."
And while his archived White House website continues to state the lie that the JCPOA prevents Iran from getting nuclear weapons - in a rare moment of candor former President Obama even admitted the truth.
And the new deal in Vienna is reported to be far worse than the first one. Originally hyped as longer and stronger it is by all accounts not longer and far weaker. It does not address the sunset provisions pursuant to which restrictions on Iran's enrichment will soon expire nor does it address the second critical element of Iran's military nuclear capability - the ballistic missile program. In reality the JCPOA is obsolete since Iran has far exceeded its restrictions on enriching uranium and the proverbial genie cannot be put back in the bottle. To add insult to injury Iran has already boasted that it plans to exceed any new uranium enrichment limits and Biden has already eliminated sanctions on two Iranian entities involved in the regime's military missile programs.
Another bit of hogwash often uttered by the delusional 'deal' supporters (more accurately surrenderers or appeasers) and their sycophants is that at least a new 'deal' will enable the UN's nuclear watchdog, the IAEA to monitor Iran's progress. All one has to do is look at the most recent IAEA report, and its predecessor reports, and the lack of responsiveness of world powers to understand that the JCPOA did not afford the proper tools, rules or enforcement mechanism to conduct meaningful oversight - and that the regime's determination to breakout has been far greater than the West's resolve to stop them (other than Donald Trump who rightly quit the JCPOA).
The promise of anytime, anywhere inspections was an empty one.
In what should have been a game changing bombshell the Israel Mossad via Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu revealed highly suspected nuclear sites that were not declared in violation of the JCPOA - and confirmed the military intentions behind its nuclear program.
